Ahhhhh my heart sinks to its bottom at night.
When night falls,
when I'm left alone in the living room,
when I'm listening to a sad song,
when my house is dark,
when I look out at the window,
I see the stars gazing at Earth, unblinking,
I see the trees stand stoically as cold wind blows,
I see the roads silent,
this empty feeling that fills my heart.
